If you listen to The Red Zone, you're likely well aware that I'm not a big baseball guy. That said, I can certainly appreciate how passionate true baseball fans are about opening day.
The first few days of the 2017 MLB season have been somewhat uneventful, but I've got to tip my cap to Mets fan Frank Fleming who has been the star of opening week. Apparently Fleming has to rely on the New Jersey transit system to make it to Mets games. They let him down on Monday and he wasn't shy about expressing his frustration.
It turns out, Fleming only missed the first two outs of the first inning. But still, we can all agree, opening day isn't just about the game. It's about the festivities.
Although they weren't responsible, the New York Mets have shown their appreciation for Fleming's support and passion. They gave him two free tickets to Friday's game. Fleming also turned his rant into an appearance on the MLB network.
