Five Reasons Why Jerry Jones Will Pursue Nick Saban For Cowboys Head Coach

Colin Cowherd: “Nick Saban has incredible energy and an age is just a number. He feels much younger than Bill Belichick… There are five reasons why Jerry should call him and why Nick would listen. NUMBER ONE: Lane Kiffin, Ed Orgeron, and Kirby Smart are maybe the three best recruiters in the country; it’s getting REAL competitive in the SEC, and Alabama doesn’t have the players they used to on defense. NUMBER TWO: the NFL doesn’t have a transfer portal and yearlong recruiting – college football is WEARING OUT coaches. NUMBER THREE: Dallas is not an exhaustive rebuild and they have the personnel, the infrastructure, and the ownership. NUMBER FOUR: he’s one of the smartest defensive coaches ever and Dallas is not well-coached on defense. NUMBER FIVE: it’s the perfect entry point for a team who might be coming in at .500; it’s not like he’s replacing Howard Stern.” (Full Video Above)

Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he thinks legendary Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban would make the perfect replacement for failing Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett, as Dallas owner Jerry Jones will soon be on one of the most compelling coaching searches of the era.

Dallas is currently under .500 with a loaded roster and the underachieving Garrett will almost certainly meet his demise unless Dallas wins the NFC East and then goes on a deep run in the playoffs that would mark the first time Garrett ever took a Dallas team past the Divisional Round.

Check out the video above as Colin lists five reasons why Saban would be the perfect fit in Dallas, as the 67-year-old would be a year younger than Bill Belichick if he made his return to the league.
