(Louisville, KY) - University of Louisville athletics director Vince Tyra has resigned. The school says it has received Tyra's resignation letter.
UofL removed the non-compete clause in his contract on Wednesday and allowed him to terminate his employment agreement without giving 30 days advance notice.
It's not yet known what is next for Tyra.
