Louisville Athletics Discusses Changes to Cardinal Stadium Operations

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Louisville Athletics Director Vince Tyra says the school is taking steps to improve the fan experience at Cardinal Stadium.

Tyra's office was bombarded with complaints after fans encountered long lines and wait times at concession stands and ticket gates at Saturday's game.

Among the changes: the stadium will now accept cash at select concession stands on the concourse, and there will be additional staff at the ticket gates.

The concession vendor, Centerplate, is working to determine the cause of credit card processing delays on Saturday.

Tyra is offering a "token of thanks" to the fans. All beer, fountain drinks and water prices will be 50% off during the first half of Friday night's game.
