Jazz's Mitchell Expects To Return Sunday

(Salt Lake City, UT) - The top-seeded Utah Jazz are getting their leading scorer back for their playoff run.

All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell returned to practice on Thursday for the first time since he suffered a sprained right ankle more than a month ago.

Mitchell said the goal is to return for Sunday's Game One, which will feature Utah facing either the Warriors or Grizzlies.

The Jazz still finished with the best record in the NBA for the first time in franchise history despite their leading scorer missing the final 16 games of the regular season.

Mitchell averaged a career-high 26.4 points this season while shooting nearly 44-percent from the field.
