(Cleveland, OH) - The Cincinnati Bengals are welcoming LSU wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase to the roster after drafting him with the fifth pick Thursday night.
Cincinnati grabbed one of the consensus best receivers in the draft while shocking some who thought they should pick an offensive lineman to protect quarterback Joe Burrow.
Chase had been high on the Bengals draft board since the departure of A.J. Green, who left in free agency at the end of last season. He will reunite with quarterback Joe Burrow after the two connected for over two-thousand yards and 23 touchdowns during their college days at LSU.
