(San Antonio, TX) - The Louisville women's basketball team's season is over.
The Cardinals lost to Stanford Tuesday night, 78-63, in the Elite Eight of the NCAA tournament in San Antonio.
Louisville had led by 12 points at halftime before falling to the tournament's top overall seed.
The Cards finished the season with a 26-4 record.
