(Louisville, KY) - Three public pools open this week in Louisville, but all swimmers must register for a spot.
Louisville Parks and Recreation says Algonquin, Sun Valley and Fairdale pools are now open through September 5th.
As part of COVID-19 restrictions, anyone who wants to swim has to sign-up by calling the city at 502-897-9949.
All pools have an initial capacity of 45 swimmers per session and sessions are 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Each will be open two-days per week, and all are closed Monday for cleaning.
