Coach Mack Brings New Look To UofL-UK Rivalry

(Louisville, KY) - There’s a new look to this year’s Battle of the Bluegrass.

Saturday’s meeting of the Cats and Cards will be the first on the sideline for Chris Mack who is also facing UK’s John Calipari for the first time in his career.

 

Mack is no stranger to fiery rivalries having been a part of the “Crosstown Shootout” between Xaiver and Cincinnati.

Kentucky leads the all-time series 35-16 and has won nine of the 21 games played on Louisville’s home floor.

Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. Saturday.  You can hear the Louisville broadcast with Paul Rogers on Cards Radio 790 KRD.  Coverage begins at 11 a.m. with Howie Lindsey, John Ramsey & Mike Rutherford.  Nick Coffey will take your calls after the game.

The Kentucky broadcast with Tom Leach & Mike Pratt will air on NewsRadio 840 WHAS.  Matt Jones will take calls from UK fans after the game.
