UofL Players Ordered To Seek Mediation In Suit Against NCAA

(Louisville, KY) - Members of the 2013 UofL basketball team suing the NCAA are being ordered by a judge to seek mediation.

Over the summer former players Luke Hancock, Gorgui Dieng, Stephan Van Treese, Tim Henderson and Michael Marra filed a lawsuit against the NCAA in Jefferson Circuit Court.

The suit seeks to "clear names" and restore the team's 2013 NCAA title, which was stripped from the school as part of NCAA penalties for violations.

On Friday, a Circuit Court judge ordered the players and the NCAA to split the expenses of mediation.
