Tyra Speaks Publicly After 'Papa John's' Name Is Removed From Stadium

(LOUISVILLE, KY) - University of Louisville Athletics Director Vince Tyra is speaking for the first time since the school announced it is taking the Papa John's name off the football stadium.

The move was made in the wake of the John Schnatter "n-word" controversy.

Tyra was asked if future donations from Schnatter would be welcome at UofL.  He says the school needs to be careful with what they are doing but would only be relevant if that was a conversation Schnatter would like to have with the university.

Tyra says they hope to have all Papa John's signage removed from Cardinal Stadium by the first home football game.
